tried tried and tested that is these are

favorite and there are two ways to start

a blog way number one is totally free so

you start on free blogging platforms

like WordPress blogger and medium so

this is wordpress.com

not.org so on wordpress.com you can

start a free blog on Blogger again you

can start a free blog on medium you can

start a free blog so these are platforms

you just need to go sign up and start

the problem is there is a limitation in

how you can monetize your content and

that is why you need to consider the

second method of starting a blog which

is self hosting self-hosting is whereby

you host the blog on another

a hosting company and then you blog on

these platforms for instance if you are

in Kenya there is this

um there is this company known as

truehost and they are very affordable

they start from

379 Kenya Shillings a month that is they

offer cheap hosting packages so you go

by a domain name here in the hosting

package and then you go to

wordpress.org now not.com wordpress.com

then start a blog there to just

understand how all this is done that is

the buying of the domain name the buying

of the hosting package of the hosting

package then the hosting of your blog on

wordpress.com then I would recommend

do anything about it it is passive

advertising and they are beginner

friendly advertising companies like

Google AdSense media.net among others

apart from advertising you can do

affiliate marketing I am affiliate

marketer for so so many

products or companies but the one

example I'll give you is Amazon

Associates this is my Amazon account as

you can see this is the commissions I

have made so I simply get Links of

products here and then I go and promote

them so you can become an affiliate and

make money alternatively there is what

we call sponsored content so sponsored

content is people who approach you for

instance if you if we look at my my mail

and then we we search sponsored or I

want to partner with you you'll see that

there are companies who approach me let

me just show you there are companies who

approach me and tell me that they want

to partner with me or that is maybe they

want me to write a guest post for them

you see like this person here this is an

uh a new mail this I want to talk to you

about the corporation so they tell me

this they want me to uh I mean Market

this company in x change for RP so these

are companies that will

uh reach out to you for cooperation for

sponsored content for partnership and

things like those that is what is called

sponsored content so with a Blog you

make money with so so many ways and I

will leave a guide on how you can learn

number two we can talk about vlogging

and vlogging is a process of telling a

story through video so in blog you can

tell a story through text through Voice

through video but in vlogging you tell a

story through video so there are many

platforms of vlogging but the most

popular which is now the second popular

search engine after Google is YouTube so

YouTube is a place you can make money so

you simply go start a YouTube channel

like this one on a certain Niche the

niche can be make money the niche can be

about

Wellness about relationship so you start

a YouTube channel around a specific

topic then post content consistently on

it and maybe if you are wondering how

much can you make with um YouTube there

is this tool that is social blade you

can just go paste the username or the UI

URL of the YouTubers that you follow and

then it will give you an estimate of how

much they are they are making based on

the views and the subscribers they have

from my personal experience I promote

money by sharing my affiliate link and

as you can see just by sharing my

affiliate link I've been paid over 179

000 Kenya Shillings from promoting my

affiliate link so that is number one

from this dashboard you can see that

I've made over four thousand

um four thousand dollars promoting this

company proofread and where a

proofreading course another common

affiliate product I promote is this

Amazon so Amazon

uh I am an affiliate of the Amazon

Associates program and as you can see I

make around 1 000 dollars in commission

and the good thing about Amazon is that

apart from being an affiliate you can

make money through other ways such as be

an influencer that is you create an

Amazon storefront through the influencer

program so this is how an influencer uh

does it this is a storefront whereby you

showcase some of the products you use

either the photos or videos and people

who buy from you can buy from Amazon and

then you earn a commission so that is

way number one number two you can make

money through selling books on Amazon

Kindle or you can get paid to do micro

jobs on their platform Amazon mechanic

attack or you can become a proofreader

with Amazon that is proofreading their

blog proofreading their product listings

and things like those so the thing is

that affiliate marketing there is so

many opportunities with companies like

ClickBank Warrior plus and so many other

affiliate networks there you can build a

business around affiliate marketing and

the good thing about affiliate marketing

shop and as you can see so far I've

see most of them have been reviewed by

many people and that means these are

business is Apps that pay the thing is

that Kenyans are always looking for ways

to make money with their mobile phones

and so there are so many app developers

who have come about with all sorts of

apps and these apps are the apps that

you can make extra money with even

passive income and

um for me I have used several apps and

I've given examples already for instance

this pakakumi uh already made of close

to 200 000 with this app they stayed on

this they start clicks this they sprout

gigs and so so many other apps I have

personally used so when it comes to this

opportunity you can either create an app

number one you create the app or similar

apps that can be used with this app for

instance pakakumi will need a predictor
